Final Kerala Gazette notification of February 2026 replacing the registration and renewal fee table in rule 2G(1), with employee-strength bands in the original official source.
Who this applies to
Applicants for Kerala Shops Act registration or renewal to whom the fee rule applies
Selecting the fee band
Use the employee-strength bands and amounts in the replacement table. The nil-employee band is separate from the band for up to five workers. Do not use the old fee table from an earlier rules compilation.
This notification changes registration and renewal fees only. It does not establish a new leave entitlement, a universal registration exemption or a fixed annual-return deadline.
