Final July 2024 Tamil Nadu Shops Rules amendment introducing online registration applications, certificates, the official register and existing-establishment intimation forms Y, Z, ZA and ZB.

Employers and establishments within the relevant registration and intimation provisions
Registration and other changes
The amendment distinguishes an employer application from the Inspector-issued certificate and the Inspector-maintained register. Existing-establishment intimation has its own conditions and form.
The same notification inserts first-aid-box provisions in rule 6A and amends rule 18. Read later amendments and current portal requirements alongside this source.
