Himachal Pradesh Minimum Wages Notification – Effective from 1st April 2025
The Government of Himachal Pradesh has officially revised the Minimum Wages across various scheduled employments under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948. The revised rates are applicable w.e.f. 01st April 2025, as per Notification No. Shram(A)4-1/2024 dated 24th June 2025.

- Agriculture
- Construction & Maintenance of Roads/Buildings
- Public Motor Transport
- Shops & Commercial Establishments
- Forestry Industries
- Chemical & Chemical Products
- Engineering Industries
- Tea Plantations
- Manufacturing Units (as defined under Factories Act, 1948)
- Hotels & Restaurants
Revised Minimum Wages:

Special Provisions:
✔ No gender or age-based wage discrimination for similar work
✔ 25% higher wages in Tribal Areas of Himachal Pradesh
✔ Additional incentives for specific work categories like Tea Plucking
✔ Apprentices wages regulated as per the Apprentices Act, 1961
